Current Job Openings

Enough is a project of the Center for American Progress to end genocide and crimes against humanity. Founded in 2007, Enough focuses primarily on crises in Sudan, South Sudan, eastern Congo, and areas of Africa affected by the Lord’s Resistance Army. The Enough Project’s strategy papers and briefings provide sharp field analysis and targeted policy recommendations based on a strategy of promoting durable peace, providing civilian protection, and supporting accountability for perpetrators of atrocities. Enough works with concerned citizens, advocates, and policymakers to prevent, mitigate, and resolve these crises by both raising awareness domestically and pressuring lawmakers and policymakers.

Director of Development

Enough, a project of the Center for American Progress, has an immediate opening for an experienced Director of Development.

Enough is looking for a Director of Development who is highly motivated by a strong commitment to the vision and mission of the project.

The ideal candidate will have strong prior experience in development and promoting human rights. In partnership with the Co-Founder, other members of the senior management team, and the development staff of the Center for American Progress, the Development Director will articulate and execute the development strategy and goals of the Enough Project. This individual will be responsible for coordinating outreach with current and potential donors and foundations; identifying prospective new donors, including foundations; and preparing all funding proposals and grant reports in close coordination with Enough management and program staff.

Communications Director

The Enough Project has an immediate opening for Communications Director.

The Communications Director will be responsible for developing and implementing Enough’s communications strategy, overseeing all communications-related activities and products, and maintaining strong press relationships within our issue areas.

In partnership with Co-Founder John Prendergast and other members of the senior management team, the Communications Director will help establish and execute organization-wide communications priorities, processes, products, and strategies. This senior management position requires eight or more years of media and strategic communications experience and strong project-management skills. Political advocacy experience and knowledge of international affairs and Africa are preferred. This position is located in Washington, D.C.

Managing Director/COO

Enough, a project of the Center for American Progress, has an immediate opening for a Managing Director.

Enough is looking for a Managing Director who is highly motivated by a strong commitment to the vision and mission of the Enough Project. In partnership with Co-Founder John Prendergast and other members of the senior leadership team, the Managing Director will help establish and lead the execution and production of organization-wide priorities, processes, campaigns, products, and strategies. The Managing Director will direct day-to-day operations for the Enough Project, providing strategic direction, operational management, and direct support to Enough Project staff.

Policy Associate – Sudans

Enough, a project of the Center for American Progress, has an immediate opening for a Policy Associate.

The Policy Associate will be responsible for researching the political and conflict dynamics primarily in the Republic of Sudan and secondarily in the Republic of South Sudan, analyzing U.S. government and international policy related to these conflicts and contributing to Enough’s strategy papers, reports, and other publications. Additionally, the Associate will contribute to research and reporting production for the Satellite Sentinel Project. This is a position requiring research and report-writing experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong understanding of conflicts in the two Sudans and the Horn of Africa. This position reports to the Sudan Policy Analyst.
